Melancholic lo-fi loungers pâle regard formed in Paris in 2018, and since then have sprinkled a few enticing singles and their debut EP Terrain Vague (translating to Wasteland). They sound a lot like a Parisian, female vocal version of Sparklehorse. Their new single 'What Makes Me Think About You' is a Nicolas Godin cover, who's best known for his work in the electronic duo Air. pâle regard's version has landed alongside a video that moves through a mushroomy haze of kaleidoscope trees and clouds. The song itself is made from sparkling electric guitars, layered vocal harmonies, a soft beat, a spacious bass line and catchy synth parts.
